Dance Talk                         DANCE REVIEWS WITH PETER FRY
Christmas Wishes and Dance Reviews from Peter and Sandy December 2006 updated11th Dec 2006
Hi everyone,

Well it's that time of year again, XMAS ! We have been winding down for a couple of weeks now so it has been mostly revision and the classes favourite dances. Which makes this article a little bit easier than other times because there favourite are what we will talk about.

Coz of you is probably the fav for the year, they have been doing it for a long time now and is always asked for, Some people is way up their too, it's a great dance the class love it to, you all ways get a great buzz when you do this dance.Over drive, Cow boy & Clown & Angels Wings are extremely popular at class still.Mr. Pinstripe is still my favourite I get a great buzz dancing it and the class still enjoy it. This year saw us going over some old dances that went over really well, Juke Box Jive, Razor Sharpe, Mmm Bop, Mad 4 it,

Some of mine that the classes like and are still requesting are River of Tears, There's More to me, Keeping Busy, The Fifth Wish, Just once, That's it, Dilemma,.
Some other dances that are popular are Women Rule, Hope
One Heart, So Sad, and there are allot more that I could mention but we will just name some of the always asked for dances.

We all up here in Newcastle, have had a wonderful year of dancing and travelling about, going to places that we normally would not get to in the real world, and meeting people who you would never have met if we didn't dance. I wouldn't change it for the world.

To all you dancers that keep going to classes and socials around the country in all the cities and towns, we teachers thank you from the bottom of our hearts, if not for your support, a lot of us would have to close our doors which would be a sad day for a sport that we love so much.

So from Sandy & I, we would like to wish all of you a very merry & safe Xmas and a Fab new year.Get to Tamworth, and support your friends the best way you know ( just by being there) and keep alive & enjoy what we all love to do DANCE & HAVE FUN...

Till we meet again don't know where don't know when but I know we'll meet again some sunny day.......

A BIG HI... TO ALL YOU FELLOW DANCERS!!!!!!!!

We have been learning some old and new dances these last few months. Razor Sharp which would

be about 8 years old was revised up in QLD on one of our many weekends away, our class love it.

It's not a very hard dance but it is very active and a whole lot of fun, well worth looking at. The

music is fabulous. Momma Mia which is proving to be another love or hate dance is becoming

quite popular. I love it, we have an absolute ball with it and most of our classes really like it. A bit

tricky but most will be able to do it.[ it's worth it.. have loads of fun ]

One of my favourites at the moment is Coz of you. The intermediates took a while to get this dance,

actually a long while but they really really love this one. It was there first hard dance but they

say it was worth it. Heaps of direction changes not an easy dance but has a great feel.

Well other than a lot of my dances {Ha Ha } that's about it for now.

Hope to see you around the dance floor somewhere someday!!!!!
